Anastasia Bezverkha

Communications Officer

 

Anastasia is designing and implementing Fund’s communications strategy, amplifying the voices of the RCF’s grantee-partners  — civil society and community-led networks in the global HIV response.

Anastasia holds a Master’s degree in Political Science and a PhD in Mass Communications from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy in Kyiv, Ukraine. She also studied media discourse analysis at Oxford University in the UK and at the University of Toronto in Canada.

Anastasia has been working in health and human rights communications sector for over a decade. Anastasia came to the Robert Carr Fund after being an independent media and communications consultant for various non-profit organizations in the EECA region and working as a trainer in storytelling for advocacy.

She also worked as a Communications Officer at the International Renaissance Foundation in Kyiv, Ukraine and at the Open Society Foundations in the Media and Narratives Program. Her previous work also includes a variety of roles including a Director of CEDOS, the Ukrainian think tank.
