Mildred Mushunje

Co-chair

Mildred Mushunje has worked with civil society, government and the United Nations in the thematic areas of gender, HIV and social protection. Her rich range of experience extends from community and programmatic involvement to research and policy development.

Mildred works with young people, the LGBTIQ community, sex workers and young offenders to promote their rights to access HIV services and sexual and reproductive health services. Mildred’s previous experience includes program development, project proposals review and grassroots engagement. She has written several publications in peer reviewed journals related to her areas of interest
