Oliver Anene

Oliver Anene (pronounced ahn-nay-nay) is a Nigerian LGBT activist who works to challenge homophobia and promote health equity globally, by building the foundations for a safer, more tolerant and supportive society for LGBT individuals.

He founded an LGBT group in Nigeria in 2010, a non-governmental organization that continues to work to increase the visibility of the LGBT community in Nigeria, as well as to provide HIV/AIDS & therapeutic services to LGBT Nigerians.

Oliver has a vast experience of developing progressive SRHR policies, and is committed to promoting equality and the protection of human rights for marginalized people around the world.
